YMCA of the Northern Sky
We are CELEBRATING 30 YEARS of the YMCA Hoot Lake Triathlon this year!! We need YOU to join us! This event is held annually in Fergus Falls, MN at Hoot Lake and is a sprint triathlon. Athletes will swim (1/4 mile), bike (15.7 miles), and run (3.1 miles). Proceeds from this annual triathlon event will support LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, our cancer wellness program that help survivors and thrivers after being deconditioned or experiencing chronic fatigue from their disease and treatment. This impactful event is only possible through the support of volunteers in our community, like you! Join us in making our Hoot Lake Triathlon a success and give back to cancer survivors in our community.

We are seeking fun, enthusiastic volunteers who want to join us on the golf course for the 2026 Paul Howry Memorial Golf Tournament. Come enjoy a fun casual day on the golf course while volunteering! Golf experience is not necessary! Volunteers will play essential roles in various aspects of the tournament, ensuring its smooth operation and success. Whether you assist with set-up, registration, event coordination, or tear down, your contribution will directly impact the tournament's ability to raise dollars to make the Y more accessible for all! Snacks and cold water provided! Plus, if you are volunteering near lunch which we begin serving at 11 and continue until tee off at noon - Lunch is on us!
